Latest News:
- We now have a new committee which is working hard to make 2008 a busy year for members, musicians and the public alike. Consequently many projects are being undertaken and we welcome your feedback to ensure the WAFF is being as productive as possible.
- WAFF’s “Town Crier” magazine has an excellent new editor in Frank Povah. The publication is freely available to members.
- WAFF’s first major event for 2008 is “Mt Lawley Folk, Blues & Country Concert” at The Velvet Lounge , Mt Lawley 10th February.
- Our new Christmas edition podcast “West Coast Folk” is now online and features interviews with Folk/Blues artist Craig Sinclair and poet Pat O’Leary. Upcoming interviews will be conducted with Maria Forde, Valanga Khoza, Chris Sullivan of The Horton River Band, Karen Lynne and many more national and local performers.
- We will shortly produce our “WAFF NEWS” newsletter with information on projects, events and Acoustic/Roots Music in general.
